“The benefits of volunteering are seemingly endless, from being able to watch the best female golfers in the world, experiencing behind-the-scenes access to a world-class event, as well as connecting with others; our volunteers enjoy it all,” said Tournament Director David Shoemaker. “Anyone interested should register, as amount of golf knowledge makes no difference. Our volunteers fulfill a pivotal role in the success of the tournament each year.”
A number of committees with unique responsibilities are still seeking volunteers, including: player services, walking scorers and standard bearers. Training will be provided for committees requiring specific knowledge.
The volunteer fee is $45 and includes two golf shirts and headwear featuring the tournament logos, a volunteer badge valid for week-long tournament access, four weekly grounds tickets for guests of the volunteer’s choice, an invitation to the annual volunteer appreciation party, and meals and beverages during assigned shifts. Employees from Walmart and P&G, as well as Pinnacle Country Club members are eligible for a discounted registration fee of $30 with the supplied promotional code from their respective employer or club.
