$300,000 In Donations To Be Allocated By LPGA Stars Based On Points For Birdies And Eagles To Schools And Programs Through DonorsChoose.org

CHICAGO and DAYTONA BEACH, Florida, December 17, 2012 – During the 2012 RR Donnelley LPGA Founders Cup tournament, RR Donnelley (Nasdaq:RRD) introduced Scoring For Schools, a season long charitable program to provide $300,000 in donations to the schools and programs of players’ choices through DonorsChoose.org.

Over the course of the 2012 season, players accumulated 5 points for every birdie and 25 for each eagle.  Updated leaderboards were presented throughout the year during Golf Channel telecasts of LPGA events and following the conclusion of the season ending CME Group Titleholders, the top 10 players’ Scoring For Schools standings were announced.  As Golf’s Global Tour, it’s no surprise that six different countries were represented as they amassed a total of 3,270 Birdies and 62 Eagles with Rolex Player of the Year Stacy Lewis coming out on top.

“We are delighted to congratulate each of the exceptional LPGA stars whose performances on the course will now support coursework in classrooms,” said John Paloian, RR Donnelley’s Chief Operating Officer.  “RR Donnelley has a long tradition of supporting education and literacy. Fans have enjoyed the birdies and eagles that allowed the players to accumulate their points and now the programs and schools that they select through DonorsChoose.org will enable students to benefit as well. We could not be more pleased with this collaboration with the LPGA and DonorsChoose.org.”

“RR Donnelley is giving back in yet another way through the LPGA,” said Jon Podany, LPGA Chief Marketing Officer. “Their support of the RR Donnelley Founders Cup already allows us to honor the LPGA’s Founders and Pioneers, and pay it forward through significant contributions to Girls Golf. Today’s Scoring For Schools donations allow players to have a real impact off the course in classrooms across the country through DonorsChoose.org. RR Donnelley is truly a sponsor that epitomizes the LPGA’s theme of “See Why It’s Different Out Here.”

Charles Best, Founder and CEO of DonorsChoose.org added, "We are excited to be partnering with RR Donnelley for their “Scoring for Schools” initiative. Through this partnership, each winning LPGA player will have the opportunity to support classroom projects in the U.S. that align with their favorite subject area, hobby, hometown or adopted hometown. Thousands of students from every corner of America will receive textbooks, multimedia kits, classroom supplies, sports equipment, art supplies and more, to improve their education."
