ShopRite LPGA Classic Presented by Acer
Galloway, NJ (January 8, 2013) – Tournament officials are thrilled to announce that when “A Shore Tradition” returns this spring to the Bay Course at Stockton Seaview Hotel & Golf Club in Galloway, NJ, it will officially be called the ShopRite LPGA Classic Presented by Acer. Acer, recognized globally as a leader in the mobile computing industry and a proud supporter of women’s golf, has signed on as the presenting sponsor of the 2013 tournament. The ShopRite LPGA Classic Presented by Acer is scheduled Monday, May 27 through Sunday, June 2.
Acer has been a proud partner of the tournament in the past, and the official computer of the event has expanded its support to become presenting sponsor. Many fans are familiar with the Acer brand via their sponsorship of the Rolex Rankings No. 1 ranked professional female golfer, Yani Tseng. Acer named her the company’s global ambassador, and Tseng can be seen in many of the company’s television advertisements, in addition to wearing logoed apparel.
The ShopRite LPGA Classic continues to attract corporate partners of Acer's caliber because of its dedication to providing an affordable, world-class entertainment experience for the entire family that has a tremendous positive impact on the region.

The best players from the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) will compete for a $1.5 million purse in the 54-hole, LPGA-sanctioned official event. A week of pre-tournament events will lead three days of championship play starting Friday, May 31 and concluding Sunday, June 2.
