PARKER, Colo., May 14, 2013 – PING Pavilion weekly passes are expected to sell out for the 2013 Solheim Cup at Colorado Golf Club, Aug. 13-18.
There is a limited number of PING commemorative passes remaining for the international match-play event, the most prestigious competition in all of women’s professional golf. The PING Pavilion, located along one of Colorado Golf Club’s great finishing holes, provides a climate-controlled environment with a patio, seating areas, televisions, restrooms and a complete pay-as-you-go menu.
The purchase of PING Pavilion passes also includes access to the grounds Tuesday through Sunday, week-long parking off site and a copy of the commemorative Solheim Cup Official Magazine.
“The PING Pavilion is a great way to experience one of the most exciting and storied events in all of professional golf, and I encourage fans to get their passes as soon as possible,” Solheim Cup Tournament Director Becky Newell said. “A relaxing and comfortable atmosphere awaits anyone who is lucky enough to have a PING Pavilion pass, and they will be treated to world-class golf in a one-of-a-kind environment.”
Fans can get their weekly pass at www.solheimcup.com for $280. After June 1, the price increases to $350.
More than 120,000 spectators are expected for the 2013 Solheim Cup, which features the top 12 women’s professional golfers from Europe against the United States’ top dozen stars. These teams are led by captains Meg Mallon for the United States and Liselotte Neumann for Europe. Europe won the last Solheim Cup in Ireland in 2011, but the U.S. Team has never lost on home soil (6-0), making Colorado Golf Club a promising setting for an intense competition.
