Star studded Honda LPGA Thailand 2014 Field vie for 1.5 million USD prize purse

Executive Vice President, Mr. Pitak Pruittisarikorn are proud to announce the return of “Honda LPGA Thailand, 2014” hosted at Siam Country Club Pattaya - Old Course from February 20th - 23rd, 2014.
The star-studded field features LPGA players from the top leading 60 on the 2014 Priority List and 10 invites to compete in the 72-hole stroke play tournament with no cut, to win the prize purse of 1.5 million USD or 46 million THB. The first player to secure a hole-in-one on the Par-3, 16th hole will be awarded a new Honda Accord 2.4 EL, worth 1.66 million THB.
According to Mr. Pitak Pruittisarikorn, Executive Vice President, Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd. "As the official sponsor of the Honda LPGA Thailand 2014 ladies’ professional golf tournament for eight consecutive years, we are very pleased and honored to announce the return of the event in partnership with Channel 7. We have built upon our accumulated experience to ensure we are thoroughly prepared. Fans will enjoy witnessing the swing of 60 world-class women golfers from the 2014 LPGA Priority List. Among them are Inbee Park, Suzann Pettersen, and Stacy Lewis, who are first, second, and third in world rankings; Ai Miyazato, the 2010 winner; Paula Creamer; Jessica Korda, who is the latest Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic champion; and top-performing Thai professionals Moriya Jutanugarn and Pornanong Phatlum. Honda and Channel 7 were join to invite Ten golfers and top Thai golfers including Lydia Ko, Mamiko Higa, Ariya Jutanugarn and Supamas Sangchan will also join the tournament.”

In 2013, the tournament welcomed 47,932 spectators throughout the 4 days, over 20,000 people on the final round. Inbee Park (the defending champion), Pornanong Phatlum (recent winner of the Dubai Ladies Masters), Moriya & Ariya Juthanugarn and other world-class golfers will dress up in Thai traditional costume for the official photo shoot to promote the tournament.”
