Field strengthens with Every Globe Moment this season
LPGA fans have been following the season-long point competition, “Race to the CME Globe”. The competition began with the Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic in Paradise Island, Bahamas, and continues through the Lorena Ochoa Invitational Presented by Banamex in Mexico. The Race concludes with the CME Group Tour Championship in Naples, Florida Nov. 17-23 at Tiburón Golf Club at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort.
“The CME Group Tour Championship is seeing an exciting build up thanks to the Race to the CME Globe” said Tournament Director Gail Graham. “The Race has already turned out some of the LPGA’s biggest names, with each LPGA event’s winners qualifying and eligible to come to Naples to compete.”
Globe Moments are highlights of the exact moment a player qualifies for the CME Group Tour Championship. These defining moments from the LPGA season will be celebrated during the CME Group Tour Championship.
Paula Creamer’s Globe Moment occurred when she holed a 75-foot eagle putt on the second playoff hole against Azahara Munoz to win the HSBC Women's Champions. Stacy Lewis’s was her come from behind victory Sunday at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G. Lexis Thompson’s Globe Moment came via a three shot victory and celebratory jump into Poppy’s Pond at the Kraft Nabisco Championship.
Daily tickets (valid any one day Tuesday – Sunday) are available for $25 in advance ($30 at the gate), as well as individual week-long grounds passes (valid Tuesday – Sunday) for $50 in advance ($60 at the gate). Children 17 and under are admitted free all week with a ticketed adult. All Military personnel with Military ID and their family receive free Daily General Admission.
The Globe Lounge Daily Tickets are available for $100 ($350 per week) and include upgraded access to VIP Hospitality Suite overlooking the 18th green with a patio, seating areas, televisions and restrooms. This open-air venue ticket included lunch, afternoon snacks and full bar.
CME Group Tour Championship Party Deck Daily Tickets are available for $65 ($125 per week) and include access to the open-air VIP Hospitality Suite overlooking the 8th and 17th greens with patio, seating areas, televisions and restrooms. This venue ticket includes light snacks, beer and wine.
