More about Sarah-Jane Smith

Smith originally qualified for the LPGA Tour in 2006 but was only able to compete in six events. She made the cut once and earned just less than $4,000. She did not play on the LPGA Tour in 2007 but competed 19 times on the Duramed Futures Tour and five times at home on the Australian Ladies Professional Golf Tour.

Smith regained playing status for the LPGA Tour in 2008 with a much better result. She competed in 13 tournaments; posted a career best, tie for sixth place at the Navistar LPGA Classic; had two additional top-20 finishes and earned nearly $100,000. Additionally, her strong play on the Duramed Futures Tour landed her in third place on the DFT season-ending money list, guaranteeing her one of 10 LPGA Tour cards that were made available to top ranked Duramed Futures Tour members at the end of their official 2008 season.
