November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month and the Susan L. Bader Foundation is spreading the word about this dreadful disease. I'm speaking out about the fourth leading cause of cancer death because 43,000 people will be diagnosed every year and 37,000 will loose the battle. Pancreatic Cancer is the least funded cancers of all.
If you or someone you know is effected by this disease or you would just like to help please go to SLBfoundationofhope.org to get more information. You can also visit your nearest Z Gallery this month and a portion of your sale goes to Pancreatic cancer research.
The Susan L. Bader Foundation of Hope was inspired by Beth Bader's mom, Sue. In October of 2003, at the age of 51, Sue was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She had always been healthy, extremely outgoing, and very young at heart. Sue lost the fight on December 10, 2004.
