According to the American Cancer Society, pancreatic cancer rates have risen 1.5 % per year since 2004. Overall cancer survival rates have improved over the past 40 years while pancreatic cancer survival rates have remained stagnant.

The 2nd annual Bader Sharp Shootout was held September 28th by hostesses Beth Bader, Alena Sharp and twenty-one additional LPGA Pros. It was another successful event, having doubled in size from 2011.

Over the past two days, the Greater Vancouver area has seen an influx of Ladies Professional Golfers’ Association (LPGA) Touring Professionals enter its borders, including 48 of the top 50 players in the world for the 2012 CN Canadian Women’s Open.
