Full name Kathryn L….5-5, 120 pounds, light brown hair, blue eyes…A 1967 graduate of the University of Florida with a BS in Nursing…Formerly a registered nurse at University Hospital in Birmingham Ala. before joining the Tour…Started golf at age 13, crediting Bob Toski, George Alexander and Gail Davis with developing her game…Enjoys cooking, horseback riding, and hiking.

Had a tough first 3 years on the Tour but in her fourth her game began to progress, as she finished T-3 at the Raleigh Open. 1977 was a most productive year as she earned well over $8,000 and recorded a 67, the best round of her career in the Lady Keystone Open.

Alabama state amateur champ in 1966 and ‘68. Semifinalist in the Women’s Golf Ass’n Junior, the Trans-Mississippi, and Women’s Southern Open. Played the U.S. Open as an amateur in ‘68, then joined the tour.
