It’s been nearly eight years since Jee Young Lee last won on the LPGA Tour but the 27-year-old South Korean is leading after two rounds of the RR Donnelley LPGA Founders Cup.

It was a record-tying day for Okinawa, Japan native Ai Miyazato who fired a blistering 9-under 63 to take the first round lead at the RR Donnelley LPGA Founders Cup.

The LPGA Tour makes its way to Singapore this week for the sixth-annual HSBC Women’s Champions, where 63 of the world’s elite female golfers will compete for a $1.4 million purse, a $210,000 first-place check and the “Champion of Champions” title.

Suzann Pettersen, Paula Creamer and Ai Miyazato were involved in a five-car accident on the busy streets of Bangkok following the final round of the Honda LPGA Thailand event.

LPGA players voted Ai Miyazato the winner of the William & Mousie Powell Award.
