Rolex Rankings No. 285 Jessica Korda will take a one-shot lead into the final round of the ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open at Royal Melbourne Golf Club. Korda, who is beginning her second year on the LPGA Tour, fired an even-par 73 on Saturday when the Composite Course proved to be quite a tough test for the players thanks to strong winds that gusted throughout the day.
LPGA Tour rookie So Yeon Ryu is the second-round leader at the ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open after shooting a 4-under 69 on Friday. Ryu sits at 6-under-par for the tournament and leads by one over fellow Korean Hee Kyung Seo. The 22-year-old followed up her solid opening-round 71 with another under-par round on Friday that featured six birdies and two bogeys.
Christel Boeljon of the Netherlands came from three strokes behind overnight leader So Yeon Ryu to claim a one stroke victory at the Gold Coast RACV Australian Ladies Masters. With Boeljon's win last week, she claimed this week’s Rolex Rankings move of the week.
