A member of the 2008 Canadian World Amateur Team, Sherlock enjoyed a successful amateur career, winning the 2007 Canadian Amateur Champion and was a semi-finalist at the 2010 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship. While at the University of Denver Sherlock was a three-time NCAA All-American (2007, 2008, 2009).
