    Amateur – White’s professional status was forecast by her victories at the 1976 U.S. Amateur and the 1976 Trans-National. She was runner-up in that tournament the preceding year and represented the United States on Curtis Cup and World Cup teams. As a member of the golf team at the University of Florida, White captured several collegiate events.
