The LPGA Tour and the CN Canadian Women’s Open, held at the Vancouver Golf Club in Coquitlam, B.C. recently joined forces to raise $1.8 million for BC Children’s Hospital Foundation through the CN Miracle Match Program.

LPGA Tour veteran Inbee Park had the Rolex Rankings Move of the Week with her runner-up finish in the CN Canadian Women's Open moving two spots to No. 9.

Fifteen-year-old amateur Lydia Ko made history on Sunday becoming the youngest player to win in LPGA Tour history with a victory at the 2012 CN Canadian Women's Open.

Lydia Ko becomes the youngest winner in LPGA Tour history, eclipsing the previous mark set by Lexi Thompson, who was 16 years, 8 months, 8 days when she won the 2011 Navistar LPGA Classic.

It was at the 1969 Burdine's Invitational when JoAnne Carner became the last amateur to win an LPGA event. Now, 43 year later, 15-year-old Lydia Ko stands on the 18th green hoisting her first LPGA trophy after making LPGA history at the CN Canadian Women's Open.

Thanks to the title sponsor Canadian National Railway Company, $1.8 million was raised for the BC Children's Hospital Foundation.

The New Zealander holds a one-shot lead over major champions Stacy Lewis, Inbee Park and Jiyai Shin, and Chella Choi, who is seeking her first win, with 18 holes of play remaining at Vancouver Golf Club.

Rolex Rankings No. 1 Yani Tseng looked to be back to her old form on Thursday, firing a 6-under 66 to take sole possession of the first-round lead at the CN Canadian Women’s Open outside Vancouver. Tseng leads by one over 2012 U.S. Women’s Open champion Na Yeon Choi. It marks the first time that Tseng has led or co-led at the end of a round since she shared the third-round lead with Karin Sjodin at the Kraft Nabisco Championship back in March.
