The ShopRite LPGA Classic Presented by Acer begins Monday, May 27 on the Bay Course at Stockton Seaview Hotel and Golf Club in Galloway, NJ and concludes with the crowning of a champion on Sunday, June 2.

The ShopRite LPGA Classic Presented by Acer has announced that the Rolex Rankings top 10 players in the world along with 97 out of the top 100 players on the LPGA’s money list, have committed to play.

Galloway, NJ (January 30, 2013) – When a new champion is crowned at the conclusion of the 2013 ShopRite LPGA Classic Presented by Acer, local charities will win big as a beneficiary of the tournament’s charity ticket program.

Tournament officials are thrilled to announce that when “A Shore Tradition” returns this spring to the Bay Course at Stockton Seaview Hotel & Golf Club in Galloway, NJ, it will officially be called the ShopRite LPGA Classic Presented by Acer. Acer, recognized globally as a leader in the mobile computing industry and a proud supporter of women’s golf, has signed on as the presenting sponsor of the 2013 tournament. The ShopRite LPGA Classic Presented by Acer is scheduled Monday, May 27 through Sunday, June 2.

The ShopRite LPGA Classic officially announced the 2013 tournament will be Monday, May 27 through Sunday, June 2 on the Bay Course at Stockton Seaview Hotel & Golf Club in Galloway, NJ.

Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) player and 2012 ShopRite LPGA champion Stacy Lewis is donating $20,000 to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey’s Southern Branch in an effort to assist the residents of the greater Atlantic City area adversely affected by Hurricane Sandy.
