Five players earned their way into the season’s third major thanks to their strong play in the opening rounds of the Marathon Classic presented by Owens Corning & O-I.
Dewi Claire Schreefel, Sarah Kemp, Alena Sharp, Jenny Suh and Jaye Marie Green have earned their way into this year’s Ricoh Women’s British Open with their play this week.
Through 36-holes, both Schreefel and Kemp are tied for third at 6-under par with a total of 136. Sharp is 4-under par through 36 holes with a total of 138. Suh and Green are T-17 at 3-under par at a total of 139.
The Ricoh Women’s British Open gets underway July 30th in Turnberry, Scotland where Mo Martin will defend her title.
