Nannette Hill, Wei-Ling Hsu and Lee-Anne Pace are in a three-way tie at the top mid-way through round one at the Marathon Classic presented by Owens Corning & O-I.
The three went out in the morning wave at Highland Meadows Golf Club and carded opening rounds of 67 to take a one shot lead ahead of a large group at 3-under par, including rookie Alison Lee.
Hill, Hsu and Pace are each looking for their first victory on the LPGA Tour. Pace however, has found success on the European Tour, winning eight times since turning pro in 2007.
Marathon Classic defending champion and world No.2 Lydia Ko also went out in the morning wave Thursday, she posted an opening round even par 71.
