Amy Yang, Lydia Ko, In Gee Chun
10:06 a.m. – 1st Tee
Amy Yang, Lydia Ko and In Gee Chun will play together in the final round of the CME Group Tour Championship. Yang hit every fairway and had just 25 putts en route to a third round 66 that moved her to within three-strokes of leader Charley Hull. Yang is in the hunt for her first win of the season. World No.1 Ko followed her Tournament record 62 on Friday with a 73 Saturday to fall two-strokes back of Hull entering the final round. There’s a lot on the line for Ko on Sunday who can capture not only her fifth win of the season but also the $1 million dollar Race to the CME Globe, Rolex Player of the Year, Vare Trophy and money title. Chun quietly climbed up the leaderboard this week with rounds of 68-69-68 to sit two-strokes back of the lead heading into Sunday. The two-time major champion came from four-strokes back to win her first title on Tour at the 2015 U.S. Women’s Open to defeat her playing partner, Amy Yang.
Lizette Salas, Jennifer Song, Ariya Jutanugarn
10:18 a.m. – 1st Tee
Lizette Salas, Jennifer Song and Ariya Jutanugarn are grouped together on the final day in Naples. Salas posted a bogey-free 67 on Saturday to move within two-strokes of Hull. The American, who likes to regularly swap out putters from her bag, said this week she’s feeling comfortable on these greens. Song also went bogey-free on Saturday including an eagle at the par five, 17th hole to card a third round 66 and climb to 11-under par. Jutanugarn is the third member of this group and like Ko has a lot to play for on Sunday. The world No.2 was a non-factor throughout much of the first two rounds but a 65 on Saturday moved her within two-strokes of the lead. Jutanugarn currently leads the Rolex Player of the Year, Race to CME Globe and money title, ahead of Ko. Also, a victory on Sunday would be the sixth of the season for the Thai player and make her the first since Inbee Park in 2013 to win six times in a single season on Tour.
So Yeon Ryu, Brittany Lincicome, Charley Hull
10:30 a.m. – 1st Tee
So Yeon Ryu, Brittany Lincicome and Charley Hull will play in the final group on Sunday at the CME Group Tour Championship. Both Ryu and Lincicome have years of experience and major championship titles to their name, while Hull is looking to capture her first win on the LPGA Tour. A rookie in 2015, Hull enters the final round with a narrow one-stroke lead ahead of her playing partners. She holds the 54-hole lead for just the second time on tour, the first time coming at the season opening Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic where Anna Nordqvist also shared the lead. Hull finished in a share of eighth. Lincicome is a six-time winner on Tour who came from behind to win five of her six titles, including two major championships.
