10:19 a.m. – 1st Tee
Amy Yang, Lizette Salas and In Gee Chun enter the second round of the CME Group Tour Championship at four-under par, two-strokes back of leader Shanshan Feng. Yang bounced back from a bogey-birdie-bogey start to card a 68 on Thursday and is looking to return to the winner’s circle for the first time in more than a year in an event where she finished seventh last season. She’ll play the second round alongside Salas, who said in September in China said that she was taking a fresh approach to the final stretch of the season. Salas had three top-20’s in the first eight months of the season but since declaring a fresh start has two top-21’s in just her last four starts. She’s had mixed success in Naples where she finished in a share of 46th last season and T-12 in 2014. Chun is making her first appearance this year after locking up the 2016 Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year award with her strong play this season.
Ha Na Jang, Sei Young Kim, Alena Sharp
10:30 a.m. – 1st Tee
Ha Na Jang, Sei Young Kim and Alena Sharp have five wins between them this season and all enter the second round at four-under par, two-strokes back of the lead. Jang, a three-time winner will play alongside two-time winner Kim and Evian Championship winner Chun. Jang is coming off a second place finish in her last start at the TOTO JAPAN CLASSIC and also finished in a share of second in this event in 2015. Kim is making just her second start in this event after finishing 24th last season.
Shanshan Feng, So Yeon Ryu, Charley Hull
10:41 a.m. – 1st Tee
Shanshan Feng, So Yeon Ryu and Charley Hull will go off in the final group on Friday. After round one, Feng leads by one at six-under par and is on track to pick up her seventh consecutive top-4 finish since August. The bronze medalist also won her last two events on Tour and would be the second player this season to win three consecutive events, the first being Ariya Jutanugarn in May. Ryu has also played great in recent weeks and is coming off back-to-back top-5 finishes. Hull hasn’t played as much golf in recent weeks, playing half Tour’s six-event stretch in Asia, which left her rested and refreshed for the season’s final event. Hull says she loves playing in Florida and feels right at home in the windy conditions.
