Megan Khang turned professional prior to the start of the final stage of LPGA Qualifying School and was able to earn her 2016 LPGA Tour card by finishing T6 at 9-under. The Rockland, Mass. native took a few moments to answer questions to give fans a chance to get to know her a little better as she starts her rookie season on the LPGA Tour.

Getting my first hole-in-one

Adam Scott
4. Biggest Accomplishment in golf?
Being the low amateur in the 2015 U.S. Women's Open.
5. Who is the first person you called when you earned your LPGA Tour card.
My best friend Danielle
6. How do you eat healthy when traveling?
I try to cook meals when I can or I'll eat at Panera.
7. What is your favorite club in your bag?
I like my driver because it is the most fun.
8. Something you may not know about Megan?
She's the only child, a dog lover and skied and snowboarded when she was younger.
9. How were you introduced to the game of golf?
My dad brought me to the golf course and said that if I hit the fairway I could drive the golf cart.

U.S. Kids golf clubs
11. What do you love most about playing golf?
The independence.
12. Why did you want to make a career of playing golf?
To play with the best women in the world.

65 par 72

Blessed
