On moving day at the Kingsmill Championship Presented by JTBC, it was Ariya Jutanugarn who made one of the biggest moves of the round, carding a six-under par, 65. She holds a one-stroke lead entering the final round ahead of In Gee Chun, Pornanong Phatlum, and So Yeon Ryu, who are nine-under par for the tournament.
There is a lot of golf to be played tomorrow, but Jutanugarn has a chance at back-to-back wins.
“It's nice, but actually, I don't know what's going to happen tomorrow. But it's good enough for me to be right here.”
In Gee Chun carded the low round of the day, nine-under par, 62, despite not feeling well.
“No, because the weather, and because I have allergies. It's really bad. I did not feel good. And it was a lot of windy today, so I did not play with high expectations, but I could focus on my game better, and I play with Candie and Kelly today, and really thank them for making me feel comfortable,” explained Chun. “And my friends are here. I was so happy to see them enjoying my play; then I focused more on my game.”
