BOSTON, Oct. 21, 2016 – The Legends Tour will conclude its 2016 season next week at the Walgreens Charity Championship.
The third annual event, presented by The Seagate Country Club, will return to Seagate in Delray Beach, Fla., Oct. 29-30, with the tournament pro-am set for Oct. 28.
This year’s tournament field will feature 52 legends of the LPGA competing for a purse of $250,000. LPGA veteran Liselotte Neumann of Sweden returns, hoping to defend her title.
Free public parking will be offered at Atlantic Community High School, located at 2455 West Atlantic Avenue, and includes complimentary shuttle to The Seagate Country Club. You must have a tournament ticket to board the shuttle.
Kids 13 and under and active military with ID do not require a ticket. Tickets may be purchased at area Walgreens for $10 per day. Tickets purchased in the parking lot are $15 per day.
Admission includes access to the Walgreens Healthy Living Expo and a “Steps with Balance Rewards” on-course walk.
Sunday ticket-holders will have free access to a concert on the clubhouse stage featuring national recording artist Little River Band following tournament action. The concert will start at approximately 5 p.m.
Adults and children are invited to wear Halloween costumes to Sunday's final round. A contest held before the Little River Band concert will determine the best adult and child costumes. Prizes will be awarded.
All ticket proceeds will benefit The Dan Marino Foundation and Achievement Centers for Children and Families.
