Ariya Jutanugarn had the Rolex Rankings Move of the Week moving up four spots to No. 2 with her outstanding play and first major win at the RICOH Women’s British Open. Jutanugarn shot a final-round, 72, to become the first male or female golfer from Thailand to win a major championship, defeating Mirim Lee and Mo Martin by three shots to finish 16-under par for the tournament. This was Jutanugarn's fourth career victory and her fourth this season
Her move to No. 2 in the world is the highest rank of her career.
“Feels great,” said Jutanugarn. “After my first tournament on Tour, my goal is I really want to win a major, and I did, so I’m very proud of myself.”
