Shanshan Feng captured her third victory in her last four events with a win at the Omega Dubai Ladies Masters on the Ladies European Tour (LET).
“I knew that I would have to play hard, try hard to try to catch the leaders, but I think the weather was great for me,” Feng said. “It was windy. If there wasn't wind out there today, I don't know what would happen. But happy that luck was on my side and I finally brought out my A Game.”
Feng, who was five-shots back entering the day, fired a bogey-free 64 to help her claim her fourth Omega Dubai Ladies Masters title inside five years.
“I'm really happy that I actually brought out my A Game today,” Feng said. “I knew that it was going to be windy today and I knew that playing in the wind is one of my strongest parts. So even though I was five behind, but you know, in the morning, I always thought that maybe I would still have a chance to win this week and I tried my best. 8-under was a pretty good score.”
CME Group Tour Championship winner Charley Hull finished two-strokes back of Feng for second, while 2017 LPGA Rookie Aditi Ashok and Florentyna Parker finished third.
Feng’s results in her last four events worldwide:
- Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia – Win
- TOTO Japan Classic – Win
- CME Group Tour Championship – T8
