Lexi Thompson, Lydia Ko, Sei Young Kim
Group 10 - 7:44 a.m. – 10th Tee
This week, Lexi Thompson makes her first start at the Bank of Hope Founders Cup since 2014. She’ll play alongside world No. 1 Lydia Ko and defending champion Sei Young Kim. Thompson has gotten off to a hot start in 2017 with a runner-up finish at the season opener in the Bahamas followed by a T-4 finish in Thailand. Ko is also coming off back-to-back top-10s. She’s making her fourth start in Phoenix where she has twice finished runner-up. Kim defends her title this week in Phoenix where she’s teeing it up for just the third time in her career.
Inbee Park, Brittany Lincicome, So Yeon Ryu
Group 12 – 7:55 a.m. – 10th Tee
Fresh off her win at the HSBC Women’s Champions, Inbee Park returns to the states for her first start on U.S. soil since the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in June 2016. She’s making her fifth career start in Phoenix where she missed the cut last year. The warm temperatures of the Bahamas suited Lincicome well when she captured the season opener by defeating Thompson in a playoff. She looks to play well this week in the desert where she struggled in years past with three missed cuts and a T-56 finish last year.
Tiffany Joh, Hannah O’Sullivan, Nelly Korda
Group 31 – 12:23 p.m. – 1st Tee
A cancer-free Tiffany Joh makes her return to the Tour this week. Joh had melanoma removed from her scalp in January and this week makes her first start on Tour since the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia in October. She will play alongside amateur Hannah O’Sullivan and rookie Nelly Korda, who posted a T-5 in her debut event in the Bahamas. She’s making her first start this week in Phoenix.
Ariya Jutanugarn, Stacy Lewis, Anna Nordqvist
Group 33 - 12:34 p.m. – 1st Tee
Coming off three consecutive top-10 finishes, world No. 2 Ariya Jutanugarn tees it up this week in Phoenix. Jutanugarn has a new, yet familiar face on the bag - she has reportedly returned to her former caddie who she split with after last season’s U.S. Women’s Open. Jutanugarn is making just her third appearance in Phoenix where she finished T-50 last season. She’ll play alongside 2013 champion Stacy Lewis, who has two runner-up finishes in this event. She’s making her seventh start in Phoenix this week. This year marks Anna Nordqvist’s sixth appearance in Phoenix, where her best showing came in a T-6 finish in 2015. She’s coming off a T-7 finish in her last start at the HSBC Women’s Champions.
Brooke Henderson, Suzann Pettersen, Ha Na Jang
Group 35 – 12:46 pm. – 1st Tee
Brooke Henderson makes just her second start in Phoenix this week. She’s coming off her best finish so far in 2017 after finishing T-4 at the HSBC Women’s Champions. She’ll play alongside Suzann Pettersen who is making her fifth start in Phoenix where she has had mixed results including two missed cuts. She finished T-15 in her last start at the HSBC Women’s Champions. Ha Na Jang is already a winner in 2017 having captured the ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open in February. She’s making her second start in Phoenix where she finished T-13 last season.
