In addition to her victory at the HSBC Women’s Champions, Webb has three more top-10s in this event. But the Hall of Famer has struggled in her start to 2017 having missed the cut in Australia and finished T-56 in Thailand. Creamer received a sponsor invite to compete in Singapore where she won in 2014 – the site of her last victory on Tour. Creamer missed the cut in the Bahamas and is making just her second start of the year in Singapore where she finished in a share of 15th last season. Lewis got off to a strong start to the year with a third place finish in the Bahamas followed by a T-14 finish in Thailand. She’s also played well in Singapore where she has three more top-10s in addition to her victory in 2013.

The seven-time winner last season on the KLPGA will be one to watch in her debut event and all season long. Chun is just one year removed from her debut season but took home the Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year award with her consistent play in 2016. Chun finished fourth last week in Thailand in her 2017 debut. She’s making just her second start in Singapore where she finished T-37 in 2015.

During round one, world No. 1 Lydia Ko, No. 9 Sei Young Kim and No. 5 Lexi Thompson are grouped together. Ko is making her fourth appearance in Singapore where she finished runner-up in 2015. Kim is coming off a third place finish in Thailand and will look to carry that momentum to Singapore where she finished T-34 last year. Thompson has had a hot start to 2017 – finishing second in the Bahamas and a share of fourth in Thailand. The top-ranked American hasn’t finished as strong in Singapore where she looks to better her T-19 finish last season.
Brittany Lincicome, Amy Yang, Ha Na Jang
Group 21 – 10:30 a.m. – 1st Tee
The first three winners of 2017 on the LPGA Tour are grouped together on day one in Singapore – Brittany Lincicome, Ha Na Jang and Amy Yang will play together in the opening round. Lincicome won the season opening Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic by defeating Lexi Thompson in a playoff and backed that up with a 13th place finish last week in Thailand. Lincicome has three top-20 finishes in Thailand, her best finish coming in a share of 14th in 2011. Jang captured the season’s second event of the year at the ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open for her fourth career win on the LPGA Tour. She looks to defend her title this week after making a thrilling eagle on the 72nd hole to win last season. Yang is the Tour’s most recent winner, she captured last week’s Honda LPGA Thailand for the second time in her career and first victory since 2015. Yang finished third in this event last season.
