The opening round of the ANA Inspiration was delay Thursday afternoon when high winds whipped through Rancho Mirage. Wind gusts upwards of 60 miles per hour blew into the area Thursday evening, uprooting trees on the course at Mission Hills as Tweeted by on-course meteorologist Joe Halvorson. Conditions were calm Friday morning, allowing round one to resume at 9:00 a.m. PT.
