In support of the See Why It’s Different Out Here marketing campaign that showcases the LPGA’s approachable and engaging global stars, the LPGA Tour today launched an online version of LPGA Player Guide, making it accessible to fans across the world for the first time.

Spaniard Azahara Munoz teed off in the first group on Thursday morning in Singapore and set the pace for the first round of the HSBC Women’s Champions. Munoz shot a 7-under 65 and leads by two shots over a group of five players who are at 5-under-par, including Rolex Rankings No. 4 Stacy Lewis and 2012 Kraft Nabisco Champion Sun Young Yoo.

The LPGA Tour makes its way to Singapore this week for the sixth-annual HSBC Women’s Champions, where 63 of the world’s elite female golfers will compete for a $1.4 million purse, a $210,000 first-place check and the “Champion of Champions” title.

A look at some of the top player picks for the HSBC Women’s Champions, the third tournament on the 2013 LPGA season which begins Thursday on the Serapong Course at Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore.
