Rolex Rankings No. 1 Inbee Park became only the second player in LPGA history to win the first three majors in a season with a four-stroke victory over I.K. Kim on Sunday at the U.S. Women’s Open conducted by the USGA. The 24-year-old South Korean fired a final-round 74 at the Sebonack Golf Club in Southampton, N.Y. to finish at 8-under-par 280.

In the Winner's Circle with Inbee Park

Park becomes just the second player in LPGA history – and first in the modern era – to win the first three majors of the season. Babe Zaharias won all three majors player in 1950. She will attempt to become the first player – male or female – to win four major championships in one season at the RICOH Women’s British Open, Aug. 1-4.

Park shot a 1-under 71 in Saturday’s third round of the U.S. Women’s Open conducted by the USGA at Sebonack Golf Club in Southampton, N.Y. and she will take a four-shot lead into Sunday’s final round.
