Angela Stanford, Katie Futcher and Jenny Shin are in a three-way tie for the second-round lead at the fifth-annual HSBC Women’s Champions in Singapore. The trio enters the weekend tied at 8-under-par 136 with a three-shot advantage over Hee Young Park, Na Yeon Choi and 2010 HSBC winner Ai Miyazato. On a hot and humid day in Singapore, Shin and Futcher each carded 5-under-par 67’s to join first-round leader Stanford at the top of the leaderboard.

Marathon Petroleum Signs Sponsorship with Stacy Lewis

Marathon Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: MPC) announced today that it has signed a sponsorship agreement with Stacy Lewis. The 26-year-old professional golfer is coming off a memorable 2011 season in which she captured her first major at the Kraft Nabisco Championship, had 12 top ten finishes and was ranked fourth on the LPGA money list.

Sheehan to Attend Denver Golf Expo

Two-time U.S. Solheim Cup Team Captain Patty Sheehan will make a special appearance at the Denver Golf Expo at the Denver Merchandise Mart on Saturday, Feb. 11. The LPGA Tour and World Golf Hall of Famer will be on-hand at the 2013 Solheim Cup booth at the Expo to promote the event, which will be played at Colorado Golf Club in Parker, Colo., Aug. 13-18.
