On September 29, 2012, LPGA golfer Diana D’Alessio will join Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar to host the “Tasting on the Green” fundraiser to benefit the Cord For Life Foundation.

The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Teaching and Club Professional (T&CP) membership has selected the following members for national recognition as a result of their achievements in 2012: Deb Vangellow, Sweetwater Country Club, Sugarland, TX., Teacher of the Year; Jane Broderick, PGA National Golf Club, Palm Beach Gardens, FL., Professional of the Year; Shelly Liddick, Bellevue University, Bellevue, NE., Coach of the Year and Kay Cornelius, Ocotillo Golf Resort, Chandler, AZ., Junior Golf Achievement award winner.

Organizers of the 2012 Sunrise LPGA Taiwan Championship announced the staging of a new two-day qualifying event in which four wildcard berths will be granted the opportunity to compete in next month’s USD 2 million tournament that features an impressive all-star field made up of the top 68 players from the 2012 LPGA money list.
