Anna Nordqvist and Danielle Kang looked awfully similar today on the course. The plan to dress alike was hatched when they both attended a Taylor-Made Adidas outing on Monday of this week. They decided that if they were paired together, they would dress in the same outfit and they had the chance in the third round of the HSBC Women’s Champions today.
“I had a feeling we might get paired when I saw the scoreboard yesterday,” Nordqvist explained. “And so I told her, you get the turquoise outfit, and she said, yeah, I do, and then I didn’t hear back from her. I said, whatever, I’ll put it on. This morning, sure enough, she had it on.”
Nordqvist fired a 68 today and will tee on Sunday just four strokes behind leader Inbee Park. She won’t be paired again with her twin, Danielle Kang, but she will be in the hunt for her fifth career win on the LPGA Tour.
