1. The Format
Once the eight teams are determined, they’ll be divided into Pools A and B, with each country competing against the others within their own pool. Each team will play two fourball matches against each country in its pool with points accumulating over the first three days. A win equals two points, a halve or tie is one point and a loss is zero points.
Upon completion of play on the third day, the two countries in each pool with the most points will advance to the final day’s competition. The third ranked teams in each pool will compete for a wildcard playoff spot to compete on the final day.
On Sunday, the final day, countries will be seeded based on their total points from the first three days of competition. Each country will play a singles match against every other country. The same points carry over from the week and the country with the most points wins!
