  • Fired her career-low Score of 67 during the 1988 Rail Charity Golf Classic.
  • In 1991, a tie for 15th at the U.S. Women’s Open marked a new career-best finish.

    Amateur
    Peterson posted runner-up finishes at the 1978, 1981, and 1983 Oklahoma Women’s State Amateur. She was a quarter-finalist at the 1985 Broadmoor Invitational, the 1984 and 1985 Trans-National and the 1982 and 1984 Western Women’s Championships. Peterson captured the 1986 Harder Hall Invitational. At Tulsa University, she was a first team All-American in 1986 and won the 1986 U.S. vs. Japan-NCAA Competition in Tokyo.
