Career
Joining the Tour in 1965 to improve her game under the toughest competition, Margie went on to be named Rookie-of-the-Year. She has been a steady performer over the years and has one official title to her credit, the Quality Chek’d Classic in 1967. She also partnered Clifford Ann Creed to win the Four-Ball championship in 1968.

Amateur
Margie had an illustrious amateur career “Down Under” as she won the Victoria Junior and the Victoria Open five times each, the New Zealand Open and the New Zealand stroke-play title, the South African amateur and the Australian Women’s championship and was a member of the Australian national team six times. She also won the 1964 Canadian Amateur, and was once a quarterfinalist in the British Women’s championship.
