Amateur
As a flight attendant for United Airlines, Floyd spent much of her free time playing golf in amateur tournaments in the mid-1970’s. She won the Hawaiian Amateur in 1974 and 1975 and advanced to the third round of the U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship those same years.
