This year alone we’ve reached more than 50,000 girls across the globe through golf and to do the same again next year, we’ll need your help to continue providing support to our programs and outreach initiatives.
We’re joining the global movement that draws attention to the ways people give back to organizations who inspire change. Today the world will celebrate #GivingTuesday, but we’ll be celebrating the kick-off more than just a giving campaign – we’re on a mission to get a grown man into a onesie.
You heard us right, LPGA Tour Commissioner Mike Whan is so committed to LPGA*USGA Girls Golf and our mission that he’s given us a challenge: raise $50,000 by the end of the year, and he’ll sport a onesie (of our choice, regardless of how embarrassing it is) during the 2016 LPGA Founders Cup press conference. PLUS, the LPGA will match every $5 donation made to Girls Golf from now until the end of the year.
Here’s how you can lend your support:
- Give: Black Friday and Cyber Monday are all about spending, but Giving Tuesday is about giving. Help us reach our goal by donating at girlsgolf.org/give. Any gift no matter how small will make a world of difference in the life of a girl.
- Share: Help us #GrowGirlsGolf by sharing this with family, friends, and your social network. Access our social media toolkit to easily share sample tweets and images for our #WhichOnesie campaign.
- Vote: Unicorn, Dinosaur, Penguin, or something that will bring out the color of his eyes? Donate to cast your vote to help us decide which super cute onesie Mike Whan should wear.
This #GivingTuesday, join as we work to inspire even more girls through golf . . . and make a grown man sweat.
