There is so much more than golf happening at this year’s Walmart NW Arkansas Championship Presented by P&G. For all the fans heading out to the course this week here is a guide to all the fun things to see, do and be a part of during your time at Pinnacle Country Club. Enjoy!

Make Some Noise!

The par 3, 17^th hole at Pinnacle Country Club is unlike any other hole on the LPGA tour, it’s the Gatorade Loudest Hole on Tour. The hole is almost entirely surrounded by grandstands and this year welcomes the addition of a new big screen TV to show the closest to the pin as well as a meter to judge the crowd’s loudness! The Ballpark Fan Pavilion is a great place to watch the action on 17 and take a break in the shade. Players are known to throw goodies into the crowd, so make sure you find some time to stop by and get loud during the week.

Autograph Alley

Get autographs from players throughout the week behind the 18^th green at Autograph Alley sponsored by Hallmark.

Take Home Some Swag

Fans can pick up their own bag of goodies from Walmart and P&G between the 17^th green and 18^th hole. The bags are full of popular products you’d find at your local store.

Family Fun at Walmart

Don’t be afraid to bring the kids out for some fun this week at the course. The Walmart Kid’s Center presented by Dove near the 17^th and 18^th holes and is full of activities for the little ones including game stations, snacks and more.

Make a Donation

Again this year, the Pantene Beautiful Lengths event will collect donations to create wigs for women with cancer. Those wishing to contribute will need to have a ponytail of eight inches of untreated hair. Stop by the Walmart AMP on Wednesday between 5:30pm and 7:00pm to donate.

Colbie Caillat Concert

Who doesn’t love a good concert? Hear Grammy Award Winner Colbie Caillat on Saturday perform some of her hits like “Bubbly,” “Realize” and “Lucky.” Tickets are available for just $10 and $5 with all proceeds going to local charities. The show is 7:30pm – 9:30pm at the Walmart AMP.

Get Ready to Eat

The first NW Arkansas Food Festival will be a foodie’s dream this week. There will be something for everyone from beer and burgers to samples from nearly 40 of the area’s local restaurants on Friday and Saturday at the Walmart AMP.

Celebrity Chef Carla Hall will host the Taste of NW Arkansas on Thursday with samples of southern comfort foods from local restaurants and chefs, but if you haven’t already purchased your ticket you’re too late. This event is sold out!

Beer and Burger Fest gets underway Friday from 6:00pm – 9:00pm with craft bears from throughout the region paired with the best burgers in the area. Unfortunately, this event has already sold out as well.

Women’s Day at the LPGA

Members and non-members of The Network of Executive Women are welcome to attend Thursday’s event hosted by leaders in the business industry. CEO of Starcom MediaVest Group Laura Desmond, SVP of Enterprise Strategy at Walmart Latriece Watkins and President of Kimberly-Clark Professional will host the event. All those in attendance will receive breakfast as well as a goodie bag. The event gets underway at 7:30am Thursday at John Q. Hammons.
