Sunday broadcast from 2-4 p.m. ET will have limited commercial interruptions thanks to CME Group

Daytona Beach, Fla., October 7, 2015 - The final round of the final event of the 2015 LPGA Tour season, the CME Group Tour Championship, will air live on ABC from 2-4 p.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 22. The event will be presented with limited commercial interruptions thanks to CME Group.

“We are thrilled to have the final round of our 2015 LPGA season air live on ABC,” said LPGA Commissioner Mike Whan. “Combining our incredible Golf Channel weekly coverage, with a steady diet of network opportunities, is a critical component to our continued growth. This way we can not only reach our core audience, but also capture the casual fan, that may not be aware of the incredible stories taking place on the LPGA. Thanks to CME Group, we are able to showcase the final step to our season-long Race to the CME Globe, and do so with limited commercial interruption.”

Tom Rinaldi will call the play on ABC’s telecast, joined by the team that called the RICOH Women’s British Open Championship on ESPN: Dottie Pepper, Judy Rankin, Andy North and Billy Kratzert, led by coordinating producer Mike McQuade - will cover the final round for ABC. The first three rounds will be broadcast on Golf Channel, with ESPN producing the telecasts.

The CME Group Tour Championship will be played at the Tiburón Golf Club located at the Ritz Carlton Golf Resort in Naples, Fla., Nov. 19-22. The event showcases 72 of the world’s best female players based on a unique, season-long, point-based qualifying format. Last year, the youngest player in the field, then 17-year-old Lydia Ko, netted the largest payday in women’s golf history, winning the $1 million Race to the CME Globe and $500,000 CME Group Tour Championship winner’s check.
