It's Your Last Shot

Lydia Ko has one last shot to add her name once again to the LPGA Tour record books, this time trying to become the youngest major winner ever. Ko sits just two shots off the lead in a tie for third but said the shot at the record is not on her mind in the least bit.

“No, not at all,” said Ko. “Morgan’s record is pretty amazing, and for her to do it at 18 years, I don’t know exactly how old, but it’s really hard to do. Winning a major at any age is pretty hard, and for her to do that at the ANA, I think is pretty amazing. So, yeah, obviously this is my last chance. I think it was Brook’s and I’s last chance. But, yeah, I think I’m just going to take it as a good experience and just give myself a good chance tomorrow.”

Tomorrow she will be 18 years, 4 months and 20 days old. Pressel was 18 years, 10 months and nine days old when she won the 2007 Kraft Nabisco Championship.

Ko has knocked on the door several times and has four top-10 finishes in 16 major starts including a runner-up finish at this event in 2013. Her lowest round at the Evian Championship was a 67 in the second round in 2013.

Defending The Top Spot

Ko also has a chance to unseat Inbee Park for the No. 1 spot in the Rolex Rankings. Ko must win tomorrow and Park must finish in a tie for 17th or worse. Park shot 1-under 70 on moving day and jump from T20 to T16 on the leaderboard. Ko is tied for third and two shots off the lead.

Shoe Me The Eagles

Eight eagles were made on Saturday at the Evian Championship and players raised $8,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project as part of the season-long Wounded Warrior Project® Weekends.

In all there have been 205 eagles recorded so far in 2015, raising $205,000.
