Only one day is left before the eight country teams are locked in for the 2016 UL International Crown. A handful of players currently ranked on the three bubble teams are battling it out in Rancho Mirage to help improve their countries’ chances. Countries are decided by a combined world ranking of the top-4 players from each country. Just four points separate current No. 7 China and No. 8 Australia, while just 11 points separate Australia and No. 9 Sweden, who is on the outside looking in.

Pernilla Lindberg’s round of 66 on Saturday jumped her up the leaderboard from T40 to T12. A top-10 finish for the Swede would provide a significant boost to Lindberg’s Rolex Rankings position and thus, Sweden’s chances of breaking into the top-8.
