Ha Na Jang
Already a two-time winner in 2016, Ha Na Jang will look to debut an all-new celebration with a win this week at the JTBC Founders Cup. In addition to her victories this season, Jang has yet to finish outside the top-11. Jang finished T-13 in this event last year.
Hyo Joo Kim
Defending champion Hyo Joo Kim picked up her third win on the LPGA Tour at the season opening Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic. Kim is coming off a T-15 finish at the HSBC Women’s Champions as she seeks to defend her title and match Jang for the most victories so far in 2016.
Brooke Henderson
Brooke Henderson will tee it up for the first time this week at the JTBC Founders Cup. Henderson hasn’t finished worse than a share of 21st in 2016, including a runner-up finish at the Coates Golf Championship and back to back top-10’s in her last two starts.
Paula Creamer
With two top-15 finishes so far this season, Paula Creamer will be one to watch this week in her sixth start in Phoenix. Creamer’s best finish came in a share of second in this event in 2011.
Stacy Lewis
There’s something about this event that brings out the best in Stacy Lewis. The 2013 champion has finished runner-up in this event in back to back years and finished outside the top-10 just once in 2011. She’s looking to break through for her first win since 2014.
Karrie Webb
Two-time winner of the JTBC Founders Cup, Karrie Webb got off to a strong start in her 2016 debut, finishing third at the ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open. Webb finished T-34 in this event last year.
Lydia Ko
The top-ranked player in the world hasn’t finished outside the top-6 in her two starts at the JTBC Founders Cup, including a share of second in 2014. She’s looking for her first win on Tour this season but has already picked up two top-three finishes in three starts.
Sei Young Kim
Winner of the 2015 Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year award, Sei Young Kim is looking to continue the success she had in her debut season. Kim got off to a quick start with two top-3’s in her first two starts of the season but has struggled to crack the top-30 in her last two events. She finished T-6 in Phoenix last year.
Amy Yang
Amy Yang is playing some great golf of late, with two third place finishes in her last two starts. She has played well in Phoenix as well, finishing in a share of runner-up in 2014 and T-13 in 2015.
Cheyenne Woods
A native of the Phoenix area, Cheyenne Woods posted her best finish of the year in her hometown last season, finishing T-24. While she’s struggled to start 2016, finishing no better than 78th but will look to capitalize on the advantage of playing at home.
