Minjee Lee and Brooke Henderson

Group 36 – 1^st Tee – 1:15 p.m.

Minjee Lee and Brooke Henderson will need to make a move on moving day to close the gap with 36-hole leader Ariya Jutanugarn. Lee enters the third round five strokes back of the lead at six-under par after opening rounds of 68 – 70. Coming off two consecutive top-10 finishes, Lee would become the fifth multiple winner in 2016 if she could get it done in Michigan on Sunday, having captured the LOTTE Championship in April.

Brooke Henderson sits six-strokes back of the lead heading into Saturday and is looking to pick up her 10^th worldwide top-10 of the year. But the Canadian is up for the challenge, her lowest rounds of the year have come late in the week, having posted just three over-par rounds on a Saturday or Sunday this year.

Marina Alex and Christina Kim

Group 39 – 1^st Tee – 1:45 p.m.

Marina Alex is looking to pick up her first win on the LPGA Tour in Michigan. This week, Alex is beginning to see her work pay off after making several swing changes earlier this season and a strong finish this week would mark her first top-20 of the 2016 season.

Christina Kim is in the hunt for the fourth win of her career, her last victory coming at the 2014 Lorena Ochoa Invitational. Kim jumped out to the early lead in Michigan on day one with a hot putter that helped her cruise to an eight-under par, 64. If she can keep rolling the ball well this weekend, Kim could be the inaugural champion in Ann Arbor.

Ariya Jutanugarn and So Yeon Ryu

Group 40 – 1^st Tee – 1:55 p.m.

Ariya Jutanugarn continues to play some impressive golf, leading on the LPGA Tour for the third consecutive event at this week’s LPGA Volvik Championship. Jutanugarn holds a two-stroke lead heading into moving day as she looks to pick up her third straight victory on Tour and become the first since Inbee Park in 2013 to win three consecutive events. Although Jutanugarn is one of the longest hitters on Tour, she isn’t hitting driver this week due to the layout at Travis Pointe Country Club, showing the versatility of her game that’s helped her remain bogey-free this week.

So Yeon Ryu played her way into Saturday’s final pairing with a bogey-free, five-under par, 67 on Friday. Ryu is looking for her first win since the 2014 Canadian Pacific Women’s Open. The work she’s put in this season with new instructor Cameron McCormick is paying off for Ryu, who has carded three top-10 finishes in her last four starts. There’s a lot on the line for Ryu this week as she tries to improve her Rolex Ranking in order to earn her way onto the Republic of Korea’s UL International Crown and Olympic teams.
