Casey Grice, fires a career-low, 65, to sit one shot off the lead in the first round of the ShopRite LPGA Classic Presented by Acer. The Texas native only made one start in her rookie season on the LPGA Tour, opting to focus on the Epson Tour as an avenue of earning full LPGA membership for the 2016 season. Grice finished ninth in the Volvik Race for the Card money list in 2015 with nine top 10's during the season to secure membership on the LPGA Tour.
In 11 starts this season on the LPGA, the second-year member has made five cuts and will be looking to continue her strong play and top her best finish of T33, which came at the Volunteers of America Texas Shootout in April.

1. What is your favorite memory on the golf course?
Winning the Texas 5A High School State individual title my sophomore year.
2. Which courses are on your bucket list?
Augusta National
3. What is your favorite club in your bag and why?
My 60-degree wedge - I love to hit flop shots, but I also enjoy the imagination you can have with each shot.
4. How do you eat healthy when traveling?
Bring your food or go to the grocery store.
5. How were you introduced to the game of golf?
My grandfather started giving me lessons at the age of 12.
6. What is it you love most about playing golf?
The ability to connect with others and that there is always something new to learn.
7. Why did you want to make a career of playing golf?
I love interacting with other players and growing the game. It brings people together, and I am honored to be a part of that.
8. What type of course fits your game the best?
Long and narrow - I love a shot maker's course!

10. How do you feel about earning your 2016 LPGA Tour card?
It was a dream come true! Now it's time to set new dreams!
11. Biggest accomplishment in golf?
Earning my 2016 Full-time LPGA Tour card!
12. Goals for this season on the LPGA Tour?
Play consistently and have fun.
13. What is your favorite way to stay in shape?
Running
- I played soccer for about ten years.
- I would be a graphic designer if I didn't play golf.
- I love the HGTV show Fixer Upper!
- The first time I traveled outside the country was this year.
- I helped lead two Bible studies in 2015.
