Hyo Joo Kim took control of the final round of the season-opening Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic and closed with a 7-under 66 to win her third career LPGA Tour title. The 20-year old finished the week at 18-under par and two shots clear of Rolex Rankings No. 3 Stacy Lewis, defending champion Sei Young Kim and Sweden’s Anna Nordqvist.

“I said my goals coming into today was top 10 but obviously it turned out I won, so I’m really happy about that,” Kim said through an interpreter.
