Brooke Henderson, Jodi Ewart Shadoff, Nicole Broch Larsen
8:09 a.m. – 10th Tee
Brooke Henderson has spent the past 48-hours getting to know Windross Farm Golf Course with the help of her caddie and sister, Brittany. Henderson says her success this week will hinge on the weather and wind this weekend. She’ll begin her quest to win her second event of the year playing the opening rounds in New Zealand alongside Jodi Ewart Shadoff and Nicole Broch Larsen. Ewart Shadoff continues to put herself in the hunt for her first win on Tour with three top-10s this year, including a runner-up finish at the Ricoh Women’s British Open. But she’s struggled to carry that momentum into the back half of the season as she’s missed the cut in two of her last three starts. Broch Larsen is also looking for her first win, and will have some success in New Zealand this week to lean on. The rookie finished in the top-20 in the last two editions of the New Zealand Women’s Open.
Lydia Ko, Brittany Lincicome, Su Oh
8:20 a.m. – 10th Tee
New Zealand’s own Lydia Ko headlines the field this week in her home country where she has won three of the last four times she competed at the New Zealand Women’s Open. Ko will look to build on the success she's found at home as she looks to pick up her first win of the 2017 season. Ko will play alongside Brittany Lincicome and Su Oh in the opening rounds. Lincicome is already a winner in 2017, having won the season opener in the Bahamas. Australia’s Oh won’t be playing far from home and will look to build on the success she found in this event in 2015 when she finished 35th.
Danielle Kang, Angela Stanford, Katherine Kirk
1:10 p.m. – 1st Tee
It’s been a season of firsts for Danielle Kang who won her first event, a major championship, and competed on her first Solheim Cup team. This week was another first for Kang who is using veteran caddie Steve Williams as her caddie. Kang says she’s feeling good about her game after getting a tune-up following the Evian Championship. She will play Thursday and Friday alongside Angela Stanford and Katherine Kirk. This week, Stanford is coming off her sixth top-20 of the season and is looking to crack the top-10 for the first time this year. This week, Kirk is looking to keep her success rolling after picking up her third career win in July and a tie for third in her last start at the Evian Championship.
Catriona Matthew, Olafia Kristinsdottir, Na Yeon Choi
1:32 p.m. – 1st Tee
Newly minted European Solheim Cup captain, Catriona Matthew, makes her first start on Tour since the announcement was made. Matthew could play her way on to her own team with continued success over the next two years and she could start this week by picking up her first top-10 of the year. The veteran will play alongside rookie Olafia Kristinsdottir and Na Yeon Choi. The rookie picked up her best finish of the season earlier this month in Indianapolis where she finished fourth and followed that with a tie for 48th in Evian. Choi will look to find a spark this week in New Zealand after missing the cut in her last four starts.
