Lorena Ochoa Bracket

4 Suzann Pettersen vs. 13 Katie Burnett

An eight-time member of the European Solheim Cup team, Suzann Pettersen holds the No. 4 seed in the Lorena Ochoa Bracket. She’ll face No. 13 seed Katie Burnett in the round of 64. Pettersen has earned 19 points for the Europeans in her years competing in the Solheim Cup but has struggled to a 1-4-3 record in singles. Pettersen pulled out a 1-up victory over Cristie Kerr to capture the 2011 Sybase Match Play, a former event on the LPGA schedule. While Burnett’s match play experience pales in comparison to Pettersen’s, anything is possible in match play and Burnett will lean on her experience of having advanced to the second match play round of the U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links Championship in 2009.

Annika Sorenstam Bracket

3 Cristie Kerr vs. 14 Brittany Altomare

An eight-time member of the American Solheim Cup team, Cristie Kerr holds the No. 3 seed in the Annika Sorenstam Bracket and will face No. 14 Brittany Altomare in the round of 64. Kerr has had a resurgence in 2017, winning the LOTTE Championship in Hawaii for her 19^th career win and losing in a playoff last week at the Volunteers of America Texas Shootout. In addition to her strong play in recent weeks, Kerr also has a solid record at the Solheim Cup having gone 2-4-2 in singles. Altomare has had success of her own in match play as the 2010 U.S. Women’s Amateur champion.

Se Ri Pak Bracket

3 Charley Hull vs. 14 Nelly Korda

Two-time European Solheim Cup team member Charley Hull holds the No. 3 seed in the Se Ri Pak Bracket and will square off against No. 14 Nelly Korda in the round of 64. Hull has had mixed success in singles, finishing 1-1-0 in her two appearances. Korda, a rookie in 2017 on the LPGA Tour, competed on the U.S. Junior Solheim Cup team, a valuable experience she'll carry into her Thursday match against Hull.

Juli Inkster Bracket

3 Stacy Lewis vs. 14 Ayako Uehara

Stacy Lewis holds the No. 3 seed in the Juli Inkster Bracket and will face No. 14 seed Ayako Uehara in the round of 64. Lewis is a three-time member of the U.S. Solheim Cup Team and a two-time member of Team U.S.A. at the UL International Crown. While Lewis has struggled one-on-one, going 0-2-1 in Solheim Cup singles, she has found more success at Crown where Team U.S.A. won the title in 2016 including a 3 & 2 defeat of Mika Miyazato in the Sunday singles matches. Uehara hasn’t competed in the team format, but has found success in her native Japan where she won the 1998 Japan Junior Golf Championship and 2002 Japan Women’s Amateur Golf Championship.
