LAKE GENEVA, Wis., May 19, 2017 – Tee times for the first round of the Red Nose Day Walgreens Charity Championship will be adjusted in anticipation of inclement weather forecasted for Saturday’s opening round.

The opening round of the Legends Tour event will begin at 9 a.m., with players teeing off on the first and 11^th tees of the Gary Player Course at Geneva National Resort.

Due to the course routing of the back nine holes, tournament officials will start players on the 11^th tee. Those players will complete their rounds on the No. 10 green.

The tournament’s first round was originally scheduled to start at 8:30 a.m.

Two players earned starting spots in the field through Friday’s qualifying tournament. New York native Lori Atsedes of Goodyear, Ariz., won the blustery and rainy qualifier with a score of 73 in a round where temperatures hovered around 44 degrees. Runner-up Sue Ertl of Ionia, Mich., also earned her way into the event with a round of 76.

A field of 54 LPGA legends will compete for a $300,000 purse in the 36-hole event. Six Legends Tour players will compete for a separate purse in the Legends Honors Division for ages 63-over.

Tickets are available in area Walgreens stores for $10 per adult each day. Tickets at the gate on tournament days will be $15 per adult for each round. Kids 13 and under, as well as active military with IDs, will be admitted free of charge.
