Azahara Munoz has dealt with Hashimoto's disease for likely a long time, but finally went to a dermatologist a couple years ago. She is starting to feel a lot better and recently finished in second place at the LOTTE Championship in Hawaii. Munoz details what she has gone through, how she found out and what she is currently doing to counteract the thyroid condition. This is the first time she has gone in depth on the condition and did so in order to help others that may be dealing with similar symptoms that included: fatigue, anxiety and ultimately hair loss.
Hashimoto's disease is common as there are more than 200,000 diagnosed in the United States annually.
In our roundtable discussion, Amy Rogers and Bret Lasky discuss Brooke Henderson's big win at the LOTTE Championship, talk about the field for the HUGEL-JTBC LA Open and deliver bold predictions a quarter of the way into the season. Bret thinks that Michelle Wie will win three times while Amy explains why Henderson will be the one in win multiple times first.
